Think of the assignments on the calendar like this: If this was a face-to-face class, you would meet in the classroom for 3 hrs per week; then, you would have homework.  So, expect to spend about 3-4 hours per week, for the next 4-5 weeks, on this series of activities. Remember, passing the Exit Exam is a must. So, worry more about improving your essay-writing skills than about your “grade”.  (Your “grade” on these activities will not help you pass the Exit Exam, what you learn will.) Everyone is who is still participating is “passing” at this point.  The set up of the online grade book (not your work) gives a skewed view of your actual performance in the class.  So, do the assignments on the calendar.  If you do the work thoughtfully and completely (and following the instructions), you should have the grade you need in the course to both pass the course and to be eligible to take the Exit Exam on Dec 9.

Instructions:  * Do the activities in order.  * Do all of the activities. * Do the activities on the day when they are assigned (Why? Because you will need to remember what you learned about how to do each step when it is time to apply the skills. Again, do the activities in the order and on the date they are assigned.  * DO NOT skip anything. *Follow all instructions EXACTLY.  * DO NOT wait for your grades; just keeping working according to the schedule.  * Each day’s activities should take you approximately 1 hour. * Remember: You will only have 1 hour to complete each section of the Exit Exam.  So, learn to do each activity in 1 hour or less. Even if it takes longer at fist, this is the goal.
* Each hyperlink on the calendar is a direct link to instructions and resources for the work you will do. * More links will become active each day.
